Robbin has exhibited in major public and private galleries across Canada and has been included in major print shows in the USA, Peru, Holland, Slovenia, Germany and Finland. Her prints, drawings and paintings are part of many public, private and corporate collections in Canada and the USA. A SHORT HISTORY

After graduating from the Alberta University of the Arts in 1977 with a major in printmaking and a minor in drawing, Robbin traveled to India, Nepal and Europe, before returning to Canada. Further travels to Mexico, Central America, the US south west and Morocco have deeply influenced Robbin’s work.

Toronto’s lively arts culture (1981-1985) inspired Robbin to produce a lot of work at this time and it was at Open Studio where she developed a two plate method to print large format colour etchings.

In Toronto, Geraldine Davis Fine Art invited Robbin to exhibit and represent her drawings and prints, with many editions selling out.

Robbin was very active in Vancouver at Malaspina Printmakers from 1986-89.

She was invited to document the Carmanah valley for the Western Canada Wilderness Committee to help bring national attention to halt logging the ancient forest's magnificent giant trees. A smaller yet no less important project to save killer whale habitat at Tsitika/Robson Bight resulted in drawings made in support of this project.

After returning to Calgary in 1989, the Alberta Printmakers was Robbin's main creative space until 1992 until she set up Push Pull Press studio in her garage and produced many large colour prints on a 3 x 5 foot Graphic Chemical press.

Robbin turned to graphic design as a way to make a living in Calgary at this time. Onjo Design was named after a Buddhist nun from the 19th C., who sought her own unique path to enlightenment.

Reaching creative burnout, Robbin traveled to Morocco in 2001and lived in Marrakech for three years. She started Morocco Explored Tours in 2003, and created a multi award winning travel company.

Now retired, Robbin works from her studio on Mayne Island, Canada. Paintings, hand made prints, mixed media drawings, and photography are her pursuits, with a dabbling in found object sculpture. Writing stories has also become part of her creative life.
